Ensure compliance with new state laws and organizational preparedness by developing a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan and designing and facilitating the corresponding training organization-wide.

Workplace Violence Prevention Plan was developed in compliance with CA Senate Bill 533 codified in Labor Code Section 6401.9 taking effect July 1, 2024. Plan includes appointed parties, anonymous reporting tool and data collection process, monthly meetings, and more. Training designed and delivered in 90 minutes for all personnel, including recording and knowledge check for onboarding purposes.

Engage employees in performance evaluations by making them interactive, relating them to the company mission and to their personal career goals.

Create space for personnel to engage in the performance development process and goal setting before meeting with their supervisors. The form can also allow personnel to reflect on the company mission and how that relates to their career goals. When opportunities for growth are offered throughout the company, performance improves and turnover decreases.

Coming back live after remote work due to the COVID-19 pandemic? Manage risk and minimize liability by defaulting to regulations and policies set forth by governing agencies. 

Businesses and employers in the LA area, for example, can develop COVID related policies and procedures by drawing upon the guidelines set for by LA County.

Scale your business and create sustainable growth by standardizing all processes and communicating them to personnel, clients, and stakeholders.

After developing an onboarding process, I created the infographic shown here to help clients and new staff understand the processes that take place the first month for new clients at the agency.

Create resources for staff and personnel to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to achieving organizational goals.

I worked with academic institutions with the goal of increased student retention and satisfaction by creating more inclusive classroom environments and student-instructor engagement. This was accomplished by focusing on faculty learning and development, partly exemplified by the webinar resource shown here.

The funding brochure shown here was developed for a mental healthcare provider with target audience specified as correctional department referral sources.

 

While working with parole-specific funding sources, we identified potential avenues within probation and developed materials needed to introduce the organization.
